Daniel 9 explains a 70 week prophecy, but supposedly Talmudic Law, p.978, section 2, Line 28 places a curse on anyone who reads Daniel 9:24-27 to understand the time prophecy it contains. There must be something important here that they don’t want us to know about, let’s take a look.

The 70 Week Prophecy
Daniel 9:24 states that “70 weeks are determined” for Daniel’s people (the Jewish nation), then verse 25 says explains that this time period is “from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks” (that’s 69 weeks). According to Ezra 7:7, the command to restore and build Jerusalem (which marks the beginning of the 69 prophetic weeks) was in the seventh year of Artaxerxes, year 457 BCE. Following the “day for a year principle” of Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6, 69 weeks (483 days) would be 483 years. Going 483 forward in the future from 457 BC would take you to 27 AD, which according to Luke 3 is the “fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar”, the time of the baptism of Jesus. (Tiberius was granted power in 12 AD).

The 70th Week
After Jesus was baptized he proclaimed “The time is fulfilled” (Mark 1:15). Notice there is one week [7 years] left over from the 70 weeks. Verse 27 explains that after the 69th week “He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice”. The middle of the 70th week would be around 31 AD when Jesus was sacrificed on the cross. In 34 AD, the stoning of Stephen marks the end of the 70 week prophecy and the Jewish nation as God’s chosen people. Those who are of Christ today are “Abraham’s seed and heirs to the promise” (Galatians 3:29) and God’s covenant was only renewed in that His law would be written in our hearts (Jeremiah 31:33).

What do you think about this essay I wrote for school?

I stare out the grimy attic window at the deserted streets below. The pale moon casts a subtle hint of light on the empty buildings and dark houses. Nighttime is the only time it is safe for me to pull back the pitch black curtains and peek out. Being a Jew is no longer acceptable in Germany, or anywhere else in Europe. When Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, eight long years ago when I was only three years old, he took over. At the time, no one knew the horrors that were to come. At first, we were simply discriminated against. If you were a Jew, you were no longer allowed to go to non-Jewish schools, or even practice your profession. But then it got worse. We were considered to be much lower than Aryans, almost as if we were animals. And that’s how they treated us. We were forced to sew yellow stars to our clothing to identify us as Jewish. We were no longer allowed to live our daily lives with the fear of being publicly humiliated, or worse: shipped off to God knows where. I’m not even sure if there is a God anymore. If there was, how could he let the Nazis treat us like this?

About 6 months ago, my parents sat me down and told me the truth: we were going into hiding. So many of our family and friends had been taken in the dead of the night, never to be heard from again. Mam and Dad told me that they had been shipped off to labor camps to work against their will. They explained that they did not want that to happen to our family. So me, my parents, and my little sister Melitta are now here, in this tiny attic above a warehouse. We are trying to survive in undesirable living conditions.

My mother always reminds me how lucky we are. We are so much better off than the Jews in camps, she says. The Nazis separate them from their families, and kill many of them. We are still a family, somehow managing to escape from the Nazi’s tight grasp on our religion. But you know what I think? The Christians are so much luckier. Why should we have to go through all of this just because of what we believe in? What makes them better than us? What gives the Nazis the right to do all these horrible things to Jews?

When I ask my father this, he just shakes his head and tells me that this is the way things are. It’s so unfair! Life is very difficult when you’re living in an attic. During the day, we have to be meticulously quiet, so others do not hear us. We may not talk above a whisper, and have to walk in a tiptoe. We can’t even use the bathroom! At nighttime, we are free to do what we wish, but we still must be quiet. An underground organization of Germans against the Nazis helped arrange our hiding place. They bring us food, news of the outside world, and hope.

My mother educates me and Melitta everyday at the tiny table we eat supper on. She says that even though we are hiding from Hitler, we still must keep up with our studies. We must not become stupid while we wait for the war to be over.

I look at the pocket watch my father has hanging on a chain. It is now 12:02 on March 22. It is officially my twelfth birthday. What a dreadful place to celebrate a birthday! For my supper tomorrow night, we will have the same thing we always have: rough brown bread and beans. I think of my past birthdays, before Jews were collectively despised. I remember the parties I used to have, the cakes my mother used to bake. That era is over, and a new, more painful one has begun.

As bad as it may seem, I know how fortunate I truly am. I have my family, my health, and my safety. Life is not perfect, and I still wonder about the future, but I am content. For now, at least. I close the ebony curtain, and crawl into the tiny cot I share with Melitta. As I drift off to sleep, I dream about better times.

I thought I knew the answer after watching a documentary, but wikipedia.org and a brief internet search, did not confirm what I thought happened after watching the documentary.

Here is what I thought:

Around 41 AD or 62 or 64 AD Caligula (who was murdered by the Praetorian Guard in 41 AD) or Nero Cesar had himself declared a god by the Roman Senate, had statues of himself made and installed in temples throughout the Empire and sent 5,000 troops to Palestine/Israel to put the statue in the Jewish Temple on the Mount in Jerusalem. They were defeated.

I then thought that Claudius Cesar sent 10,000 troops and in 68 AD, destroyed the Jewish Temple on the Mount in Jerusalem, slaughtered 150,000 Jews including 5,000 men, women & children on the Temple grounds.

But Caligula was murdered in 41 AD, Claudius was poisoned by Nero’s agents in 54 AD.

So Nero MUST be the Roman Emperor who used his legions to install the statue of himself in Jerusalem.

Nero was ousted in 68. Nero died/ committed suicide with help on 9 June 68.

So, did Nero destroy the Temple in Jerusalem or did his successor? OH, I found out it was a Roman General, the future Emperor Titus in 70 AD. With 70,000 troops and aid from Titus’s 2nd in command,

Vespasian became Emperor of Rome (Cesar) on July 01, 69 AD and his son, Titus (Latin: Titus Flavius Caesar Vespasianus Augustus) was the name Titus assumed as Roman Emperor on or about June 24, 79 Ad.

So, Titus as General of the 70,000 Roman troops, captured and destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple at the beginning of August, 70 AD and finished destroying the city by the middle or end of September, 70 AD.

Did I get it right?

The only girl who I’ve mainly been with ever since I got my GED since November 2005. I don’t see myself with anybody else but her. It’s like this, We first hook-up back in December 2006 until I sat there listened to my ex best friend who wasn’t really a friend, she cased me the first relationship from listening to her. Beginning of 2007 the first couple of month, I stayed in contact with her, we was talking on the phone like we used to, I even made fun of her when it was snowing were I was because it wasn’t snowing where she was (long distance) it was funny to both of us, instead of me going playing.in the snow, I just stayed in my room and stayed with her on the phone. This is the bad part, this was the 2nd time I ever seen snow because I saw it for the first time back in 1996. April – May 2007, I was under a lot of stress, I wined up withdrawing from school but they was nice to let me continue to live on campus until the semester was over. Then a lot of good things started to happening to me. I went back to my hometown where she was but my big ego, which I don’t have anymore, made me forget about her. June 2007, I got excited about my first apartment when I out of town, I said some things to her that I didn’t mean to say personally, it was just my ego. So August 2007, we started back talking but she was in a relationship, we were just friends. Thanksgiving weekend 2007, it was my first time home in 6 months, she told me 2 shocking things, 1) she wanted to because jewish, so I was like WTF?? but I told her that I support her, which I wanted to. 2) she told me that she was pregnant by somebody else, I got really upset, it only took me about 10 minutes to calm down, I told her it was gonna be ok because I was here for her. About the first monday in December, I just found out that the school really didn’t teach my major, so I was like this would be a good time to go back home and get my associates and make things right with her again. February 2008, she keep telling me about the dude who got her pregnant, and that keep getting on my nerves but this is the thing, she told me that this was the guy first child and he was 24 fyi she was 20 at time, I was like ok Imma just have to move on because this was the guy’s first child and he needs to be there for his child. March 2008, so my ex bff tried to hook me up with somebody else. It’s very confusing to explain. here go my old ego, listening to her again causing me not talk to her again, come find out one of her friends tried to get with me. So I had realize I had hooked up with just about all of her friends in the past within the May 2004 – November 2005 time frame. Me and her got into it real bad about this, i told her she has cost me the best thing that happened to me in my life besides getting my GED. May 2008 I called Bri and told her that I was sorry and I couldn’t be with nobody else and I wanted her to come and live with me, she told me that she broke up with the guy and she was living with some nice jewish people, so I was happy and we just started catching up, she told me what she was planning to name the baby, we wasn’t quite together just yet. I started sending her love messages and stuff but she never responded. Beginning of July 2008, she catch a miscarrige, I haven’t heard, she called me and told me, I started crying. After that, I started to feel like a jerk because it seemed like I didn’t have any sympathy for her lost, which I did, I started talking about what we was going to do in the future, I guess that made her mad. She made 21 years old on August 23, about 1 day after, I spent over $ 250 for the first time ever on someone besides myself (her), highest I ever spent on my mom was like $ 110 and this was like back in 2005. I made a gift basket, a gift bag and I brought a engagement ring because I want her to be my wife. Last time I actually talked to her on the phone was back in August before she turned 21, for some strange reason, she haven’t bothered to called, tell me congrats on some things like me making the sophomore class vice president at the college I go to, every time I send her a message myspace she doesn’t answers. About a month ago, the jewish lady of the house where she was staying caught a attitude with me, talking about she doesn’t live there anymore. She was in her hometown which is a hour away. I been calling her mom’s phone but she says she’s not there everytime. I still love her, I don’t know what to do now?

1. The Jewish people would be scattered worldwide; yet Israel would become a nation again-ref Isa 66:8; Mic 5:3. Prophecy fulfilled. This happened exactly as predicted on May 14, 1948. That’s 1 out of 1.
Note: Israel was destroyed in approximately 721 B.C. and Judah about 135 years later. For the last 2500 years, approximately fourteen different peoples have possessed the land of Israel. Nevertheless, the Bible showed that the day would come when the nation of Israel would be reborn.
The rebirth of Israel was a key sign, indicating we had entered a time period called the latter days. It was the beginning of a countdown leading to the Tribulation and culminating with the Battle of Armageddon and the return of Jesus immediately after. Along with the fulfillment of this crucial event are over 360 prophecies that would all come together, so we might recognize that the Tribulation is very close at hand. Twenty nine of them are listed here.
Yet the Bible foretells that most people would not believe these things, despite the overwhelming evidence of the fulfillment of the signs from God’s Word and the incredible rebirth of Israel happening exactly as predicted. As people refused to believe the flood was coming in Noah’s time, so people today willingly choose to disregard the signs of the times.

Note: On Nov. 29, 1947, the General Assembly of the U.N. approved a resolution calling for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. On the morning of May 14, 1948 (the last day of the British mandate), a meeting of the People’s Council took place in Israel to decide on the name of the state and to finalize the declaration. At exactly 4pm, the proclamation ceremony began at the Tel Aviv museum. The 979 Hebrew words of the Scroll of Independence were read. All stood, and the scroll was adopted. The notorious White Paper, issued by the British in 1930 restricting Jewish immigration, was declared null and void. Members of the People’s Council signed the proclamation. David Ben-Gurion rapped his gavel, declaring, “The State of Israel is established. This meeting is ended.” Israel was brought forth as a nation in one day, at once. It happened exactly as predicted. At midnight, the British soldiers and high commissioner would leave. President Truman was swift in announcing U.S. recognition of Israel. The following morning, on May 15, Israel was under armed attack by the Egyptians, Syrians, Lebanese, Jordanians, and Iraqis.

3. The rebirth of Israel would happen after many days. It would occur a long time in the future after the prophecy was made and at the time the bible calls the latter days-Ezek 38:8. Prophecy fulfilled-May 14, 1948. That’s 3 out of 3.
Note: It is estimated that this prophecy was made around 580 B.C. Approximately 2500 years later, in 1948, this prophecy was fulfilled.

4. Israel would be brought forth (or reborn) “out of the nations.”-Ezek 38:8. Prophecy fulfilled-May 14, 1948. That’s 4 out of 4.
Note: As previously stated, on Nov. 29, 1947, the General Assembly of the “United Nations” approved a resolution calling for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. This prophecy was perfectly fulfilled. Consider, for centuries the land of Israel had been occupied by many nations. Israel was “brought forth out of the nations”—the children of Israel from many nations were returning to their ancient homeland.

5. Israel must regain the city of Jerusalem-Joel 2:32; Isa 28:14; Ezek 22:19. This happened just as predicted in 1967. That’s 5 out of 5.
Note: The Bible gives us two methods so we would know we are in the last generation. One is by Israel’s rebirth. The other, by a precise line of events that would all come together at one time. Israel was reborn on May 14th, 1948. The Bible indicates that from Israel’s rebirth a generation would not pass till all be fulfilled. A Jewish generation is figured from the age of 20 to 60 (1968). We are not setting any date, but it seems clear that we are living in that generation now.

6. The Christian church at the time of the end would be lukewarm, neither cold nor hot for Jesus. Prophecy fulfilled. That’s 6 out of 6.
Note: God will spew them out. Many church leaders and people that call themselves a Christian and are sure they are saved will not be going to heaven. The Bible tells us—you have acquired wealth, but your true condition is wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked and you don’t know it-Rev 3:14-22. This is today’s church. Most churches preach very little Scripture, but lots of worldly stories. Many sing a great deal, but put very little emphasis on repentance, obeying, serving, and fearing God, the fruits of the Spirit, Bible prophecy, water baptism by immersion, and studying your Bible faithfully every day.

Question by Tom: What would be the ”right thing to do” for the future of Israel?
The goal of all country’s who lose numerous amounts of lives should be to prevent this. To promote human rights. And I believe this to be true. However, there’s a large contradiction and controversial subject all of us will live to continue to see throughout our entire lifetimes. Six million Jews were killed in the Holocaust. Eleven million lives were lost altogether. When the United Nations was established and began acquiring power and other nations such as Germany began re-establishig governments along with the help of the United States, the state of Israel was created in 1948. The idea of a Jewish state to protect Jews right was genuine. It’s understandable. What wasn’t considered were the Palestinians interests. In general, all places in the world were had governments. Maybe there was no where else to go? Without any regard to further consequences such as several wars they’d fight or terrorist attacks, a government was established.

I’ve spoken to different Jewish people who’ve had mixed feelings on this issue. The more conservative Jews believe the land was entitled to them from God. What those people do not answer is would ”God” want to or not want to see numerous people die in the cause? Regardless of who ever’s religious ideas in 1948, even no person could have imagined the power Israel has emerged into. It’s all about rationality. I don’t want to sound rude here, but Israel was virtually settled like Florida. People from all over moving there. Whether that be Europe, America, Canada or who ever. Nonetheless is this very religious land, but it’s very expensive. So what is the ”right thing” to do? This is the answer I’m looking for. I understand the rationality of the ”right thing” is another issue, but people need to get on the same page. For the sake of Jews, Muslims, Christians and everyone in this world – something has to be done. It can’t remain like this. Tension will only continue to boil. This could cause a much larger World War III than anyone person hiding underneath their desk in the 60′s thought could happen with the Soviet Union. As I mentioned, those who’ve seen disaster know better than anyone else. France and Germany pretty much gave a ”Go F yourself” to America for contradicting every provision in the Geneva Convention by invading Iraq.

People in Japan who’ve had two of their cities dropped a nuclear bomb on know pain is something they wouldn’t want others or themselves to experience again. The majority of Jewish Israel citizens are the descendants of those who lost all their families in the Holocaust. They know pain as much as anyone. Israel’s a well educated nation. They know all this. Does the Israeli Government believe that the preservation of a wealthy economic state should come at the cost of peace and humanity of Jews and all people on earth? What is everyone’s thoughts on this? I ask this to everyone in the world. Please try to eliminate your biases and see this as a human-being. I know it’s outside the box thinking, but I believe that the state of Israel should be re-established as a territory of the world that people from all nations have the right to. It shouldn’t be a Muslim state. Nor a Jewish state. Religion should be separated completely. It should be a U.N. territory. I know there’d still be violence. And lots of unhappiness. But it’s promote more harmony. And believe it or not, if people felt less threatened to travel there the tourism would really boom.
It’s as much a global decision as it is an Israeli decision. A large percentage of Jews in Israel came from America, so they do have a pretty personal connection to our country.

The question more clearly is: What should the land of Israel be? What is it right now? A Palestinian nation? Two separate nations? One nation that is free of religion that is more considerate to the interest of Muslims?
I didn’t mean you didn’t have to socially isolate religion from the land. I said and would believe the all religious buildings of all religions should be protected in Israel.

It’s the technical operation of government that should be separated from the state. You can’t have religion in the state if there’s more than one religion. In present day Israel, 20 percent of their citizens are Muslim even though they’re living in what’s technically regarded as a ”Jewish state.” In a sense, it makes Muslims (Palestinians) second-class citizens in the state of Israel because they’re interests are always put secondary.
Richard V, I agree a lot of what you say. I’m sure Jimmy Carter is held in higher esteem outside of our borders rather than within because of his concern of both humanity and significance in Camp David.

I don’t know what Barack Obama will do there, but it probably won’t be much. This isn’t America’s problem. Everyone needs to stop thinking America’s the police of the world and the diplomators of treaties. We’re not. We’re just a somewhat populated nation in the world.
Israel is an issue Jews, Muslims, Christians, Americans, Europeans, Asians, Africans, Australians & Latin Americans should all be involved in because all of this effects them. It’s a global issue. Another problem is the media has the American mind trained. It’s not even the position of American. But rather that most Americans (including Jewish-Americans) are not aware of all of this. Having a friend in the Middle East helps make America wealthy, so keeping the herds eyes away allows the big boys to the dirty work.

What is the meaning, and pure intention of the Word “LOGOS” that was with God and was GOD?

( What am I asking? (( for those still wondering, I am asking, WHAT was in the Bosom and Heart of the Everlasting Father before He spoke the Worlds (Aeons) into EXISTENCE.?))
